Recent statistics show that we’re losing about 1,500 ministers per month. It’s a tough job and one that we too often take for granted. The emotional strain, the spiritual struggles, the weight of an entire congregation on their shoulders… all this takes a toll on ministers health, sanity, marriage and spiritual walk.
But we can do something about that…
This Greek word means to renew, refresh, bloom again. Anathallo is the foundation of Phil 4:10. It’s only fitting that Emmanuel, a boat built in Greece and donated for the last many years by a missionary with strong Greek heritage, continue its life as a servant to the Lord with a strong Greek tradition. Our objective is to provide rest, rejuvenation, encouragement and mentoring for ministers.
Sailing Vessel Emmanuel is the first in what we hope will be a long line of options for ministers at rest. In the future, we hope and pray that all sorts of property owners will donate their spaces for weeks or months to this ministry. We also hope to have mentoring opportunities for all sorts of Christian volunteers… elders, pastors, mentors… who would be qualified to sail and want to help minister
to ministers.

3. Selection committee picks twelve ministers. 4. Each of the twelve get one week on-board Emmanuel.
A minister and spouse must be nominated by one of their members to qualify as a participant onboard Emmanuel. By writing and submitting a one page description of why this minister and spouse should be considered for our program, they will enter their minister to be considered for a free week of rest and rejuvenation onboard Emmanuel.

In most cases the vessel will be docked in Panama City, Florida with excursions to suit the minister and spouse. SETH & ASHLEY CHANDLER
Seth and Ashley Chandler have served at their local church in Jackson, TN for their entire married lives… almost 34 years. Seth recently resigned as an elder to pursue the Anathallo ministry in hopes of helping minister families rest and “re-bloom”. Seth and Ashley have four grown children, two lovely daughters-in-law and two grandchildren. Seth has worked in the advertising and publicity industry for past 34 years while Ashley is currently working in the mental health sector.
KEVIN & JANA LANG
Kevin and Jana helped start a house church with just a few couples in 2007. Now they help shepherd a congregation of more than 1,200 members. Of course, they take no credit for the successes, but those who have come alongside have poured their gifts into growing the church and God remains the sole reason for the momentum. Kevin & Jana have been married for 35 years, love the coastal life, and are avid boaters on the coast of Georgia. Kevin works in insurance and financial services. They have 2 children and 2 grand-daughters. Kevin is also retired Coast Guard. You will love spending a week with Kevin and Jana.
JIM & LORI FRAZIER
Jim and Lori Frazier have spent their lives in the greater Denver Area helping launch all sorts of non-profits. Jim serves as an elder for a large church of Christ in Lakewood and Lori is the epitome of a Proverbs 31 woman. They have opened their home to so many over the years and that’s how we met them. Their love for boating and their capacity to counsel and help couples make this a perfect fit.
